I began my career at a personal injury firm that focused on pre-litigation negotiation. During my time at the firm, I gained respect for my strong negotiation skills, which often led to large settlements and savings for the client by avoiding litigation. I also acquired a thorough understanding of the litigation process when negotiations failed. Additionally, I've built on my dispute resolution and negotiation foundation by mediating over 75 cases at the Riverside County Superior Court.

I gained payments industry experience during my time as in-house counsel at a mid-sized ISO that specialized in high risk solutions. At this complex ISO, I drafted, negotiated, and reviewed vendor, agent, ISO, and acquiring bank contracts. I worked closely with the risk department to stay apprised of any FTC actions and regulatory changes that would affect the payments industry. I also aided the collections department through litigation and negotiation to recover from merchants.
